About Echo Notes

Capture ideas. Keep tasks running in the cloud.

Echo Notes is a local-first workspace for notes, AI-assisted organization, and cloud automations. Recording should remain dependable, automation should be useful, and human judgment should stay before every consequential write.

Why local-first

Ideas rarely wait for a reliable connection. New notes and edits first reach the current device so the core writing flow does not depend on one remote request succeeding.

Local-first does not mean data can never leave the device. Sync, AI, and cloud automations send the information required for the feature you choose, and those boundaries should be stated plainly.

Why approval comes first

AI can prepare useful structure quickly, but it should not decide which draft becomes part of your record. Echo presents note drafts, classification plans, and automation drafts as inspectable actions.

Approval is not friction for its own sake. It returns the title, content, destination, and impact to your judgment before anything is applied.
